I posted a review on yelp recently citing the unprofessional experience I had with an attorney representing Reape-Rickett Law Firm. I stated that during meetings with this specific attorney from RR Law Firm, I could smell alcohol on his breath and he slurred his words while re-hashing issues that had already been addressed, all adding up to additional billable hours. Important verbal agreements were NOT honored. I was manipulated and lied to at a vulnerable time in my life. My act of trusting this RR attorney resulted in additional stress and financial hardship. Due to his incompetence, I fired him. As a result, I was in a position to retain new counsel, which created additional fees incurred. I had to pay for a new retainer ($7500) and the cost to transfer new documents to a new attorney. RR’s yelp response appeared to dismiss accountability for their incompetent attorney. That attorney was hired by RR law firm, to represent RR Law Firm. That attorney is no longer with RR, but their firm is fine to hunt me down 10 years later and sue me for thousands of dollars in interest. I strongly urge you to do your research before hiring RR Law Firm.

Jim Reape provided and explained to me in detail the information I needed. He was nothing but professional and easy to talk to. Jim Reape having 30 + years of experience is very obvious of his knowledge in family law.

I wasted tens of thousands of dollars being taken advantage of by this firm... lawyers that couldn't even get my name correct, didn't communicate with eachother, and accomplished literally nothing for me in my divorce. They continually tried to "go to war" with my ex-husband and billed me for things that were completely unnecessary, stoking a fire that did not even need to be lit. Funny how I was able to get my divorce finalized and processed with no anxiety or headache once I fired this firm. They took advantage of a vulnerable single mother and should be ashamed of themselves.
