My boy seems to enjoy being there on days his school is closed. He enjoys the game room and has a couple friends from school to play with. He has not expressed anything positive or negative about the staff so I can't remark on their interactions with the boys & girls. What I can say, and the reason I am writing this review, is based on the less than 6 times I've dropped him off or picked him up the staff has been unwelcooming and unprofessional. I have not once been greeted by the front desk worker(s) with a smile, or "hello", or "how can I help you?" Usually the only interaction involves signing him in and it feels like I'm asking a lot of them to simply do that, the bare minimum. I felt unwelcome and unacknowledged every time I've stepped foot inside. Today when I walked in with my boy, a few staff were sitting at the front desk engaged in conversation. We were not given any welcoming as usual, and the young, female worker that sticks out to me as the most unprofessional blunts out, "I'll sign him in!", nothing more. I calmly pointed out my experience of them being unwelcoming and unprofessional and instead of acknowledging, she responded with "I'm not assigned to the front desk." So no accountability or desire to improve. As a parent walking in, if you are sitting at the front desk then you are the face of the Club, regardless of what your job position is. You guys provide a service for our children which I appreciate, but I think there's a lot of room for growth with good customer service and professionalism. I want to feel secure in knowing that I'm leaving my child with somewhat professional, service driven staff and that has not been my experience. Please do better.

My two kids have been here since elementary school, one just graduated from High School this year. Both the Canyon Country and Newhall location have been a blessing and a great place for my kids to come to throughout the years. They provided my kids with the support and engagement they needed at the time of their enrollment. My son struggled with having ADHD, and was going through a challenging phase. The BGC staff was extremely patient and did everything they could to provide my son with the support needed.

UPDATE: I’ve definitely seen a change since my last review and therefore will be giving 5 stars . Thank you 🙏🏻
I’m giving this club 3 stars primarily because my children are very happy here. However, I do wish the staff were more professional and friendly. My kids just started attending a few days ago, and their happiness brings me joy. There’s one staff member in particular who seems quite unhappy, especially during pickup times. I also find that the staff doesn’t greet or acknowledge me as a parent, which I find a bit frustrating.
While I understand that many of the staff are young, my concern lies more with their attitude. In Palmdale, my kids were part of the Boys and Girls Club at Rancho Vista Elementary, where the young staff were always mature, friendly, and professional—qualities I truly appreciated. I’d happily change my rating to 5 stars if I notice a more welcoming atmosphere.
Ultimately, my priority is my children's happiness and safety. The club itself is wonderful; I love the art room, learning room, and computer room! I even took the initiative to give myself a tour on the first day. So, while it’s a great club and my kids are content, I just wish the staff would show a bit more enthusiasm for their roles.

Honestly for my granddaughter she really thinks it's amazing and fun and 60 dollars is actually pretty cheap and plus that place has three rooms in total that she can have fun in
