Are you ready for Christmas? Me too! I know it’s still August, but I’m already excited to start decorating. If you’re the type who loves to decorate early, you should stop by Hobby Lobby—they already have Christmas decorations out!
Highly Recommended
I love Hobby Lobby! I just wish we had one
here in Northridge.

Tons of stuff for just about any craft you would want. I bought 2 very large picture frames and they were beyond inexpensive (after checking out other stores). Employees are helpful and respectful (this is missing in other retail stores). Overall a very nice shopping experience.

I HAD A WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE WITH KIMBERLY. She is very helpful and she would make us laugh at the register!!! Kimberly is a A+++++ it was a wonderful experience being here with just her presence. This is a great way to show how customer experience should be like.

Staff was pretty nice. However, I had to ask 4 people before I found the thing I was looking for. One led me in the completely opposite direction. Also (this is partially my fault but still), they do NOT take Google Pay or any other contactless payments. I didn't have my card on me so I had to borrow a friend's. The cashier was understanding thankfully. It's the end of 2025 and these guys can't take contactless? C'mon. We can do better.
Their website also doesn't tell you the location of their in store items.

I’ve gone to this hobby lobby a couple of times and there’s nothing out of the ordinary about my experience to complain about, but the way this store runs may affect other people.
I made a list of 3 reasons why:
1 - open products/boxes. When walking around the store, you can find a couple of open product containers/ actual products. I counted about 5 open product boxes when I was there last night, and 2 out of the 5 items were damaged. I noticed a lot of these products that were damaged, or the open boxes, would be hard to see unless you’d turn it over to look at it, and it’s usually the last one or one of the last ones in stock. This can make it really hard for shoppers, especially if they had their eye on something, found it, and said “oh cool! It’s the last one in stock!” Only to realize it’s damaged, and they’ll have to search somewhere else. This can be really time consuming for people to drive to another store or find a replacement that they weren’t planning on doing. Most of these damages were near the cash register. I picked up a squishy to see where the scan line would be to buy it, but, it was ripped and a bunch of red doughy material got onto my hands. I also noticed a bunch of squishies out of their wrapper, or no wrapper to be found. Luckily no food items were opened.
2 - Barely any assistant staff. Walking around the store, there’s only maybe 2 employees working and walking around maximum. If someone needed assistance quick, and no button was around, it would take a long time to hunt someone down for assistance. Based on all these other reviews I’ve read for this store, a lot of workers were rude and inattentive, and when finally found, customers were met with a rude response. This is bad because it won’t match a positive store influence but rather a “get outta my face, I don’t get paid enough or have the time” kinda store influence.
3 - this store supports awful, offensive, and problematic things/organizations.
Sorry for the long review, but I thought this needs to be brought up.
