After only a short time, the poor installation is showing. The flooring we had put down is coming up (there is bowing at the seams), the baseboards were not attached properly secured to walls, and the overall install was not good. I have attached pictures. Please make sure you inspect the install very thoroughly, seems like they really wanted to save time and money with a subpar job. Not happy, as they refused to correct this crappy job.

This was the worst experience from beginning to end! The goal was to have the rug replaced in the master bedroom of our new home with tile that matched the rest of the tile throughout the house. I went to the flooring center and chose a tile that was very similar to the color that we had in our home. A couple of days later, one of their sales people came to our home and gave us an estimate for ripping out the carpet, and installing the tile and MATCHING grout. I signed a contract and paid a fee upfront for them to complete the job. Two weeks later, I received a call and was told that the tile I had chosen was discontinued, but they had tracked some down back east but it would take another two weeks. It took almost a month before the materials came in. After waiting almost two months, three men showed up at my door on a Friday to begin the job. They showed up late and at the end of the day one of the men told my husband that he would return the following day to complete the job. The next day was Saturday and someone completely different showed up and asked us if we had the grout to be used for the job. (That should’ve been my first clue that something was wrong.) After he completed the job, we noticed right away that the grout color was off. It was supposed to be a chocolate brown, but it almost looked like a terra-cotta red . I was very upset because it did not match the rest of my house. My husband, and I hoped after it dried, it was maybe turn the color brown we had hoped for but of course it never did. After calling to complain, Luis (part owner), came out to my house to see the job for himself. He told me that even if I had used a dark color brown for the tile that it wouldn’t look the same throughout the rest of my house. I was not happy with the job, however, agreed that I would not play the balance. The next day, I called Luis. I was regretting my decision and I told him that I was very unhappy and asked him if he could just redo one portion of the tile that was crooked. He he told me that I would have to pay half of the balance. I was not about to pay one penny and I regret agreeing on not paying the balance and leaving it at that. It looks horrible! Now I’m going to have to hire someone else to redo the job and it’s going to cost me a lot more than what I owed Santa Clarita Flooring Center. I wish I would’ve demanded that they redo the grout. The contract I sign stated,” matching grout.” Take a look at the picture for yourself. The tile work on top is the original and the bottom half is new. Does the color of the grout they used match? Check out the poor craftsmanship! Save yourself the headache and your money, and go elsewhere!

We had a great experience with Santa Clarita Flooring in getting new carpet. Sara helped me find a carpet that matched our quality and pricing needs and scheduling was very smooth. Installation took one long day and was done with care. Carpet looks beautiful, we are very happy!

My mother and I were a bit concerned about all the pieces that involved the process of selecting a floor and the work it would take to complete the 4 rooms involved. Brian Hall, at Santa Clarita Flooring made the complete process an easy one from start to finish. He was professional, patient and knowledgeable. His follow up and communication gave us confidence in the work to come. We selected vinyl flooring and we were advised that the process could potentially take up to three days.
The team that installed our flooring was as good as Brian said they would be. David and his work partner were so professional and efficient that we barely felt their presence. They were organized, efficient, and precise with the details.
The work was completed in 1.5 days. The finished product, to include the baseboards, was perfectly finished and the caulking was seamless. We will be using Santa Clarita for our future flooring needs.
Thank you Brian and team for making this a good experience.
