I had an absolutely amazing experience with dog training at PetSmart thanks to Isabella Rodriguez (Izzy). Izzy trained my dog, Freddie, and I truly couldn’t be happier. She is incredibly professional, kind, patient, and extremely knowledgeable about dogs. From day one, she showed so much love and care toward Freddie, and it was clear that she genuinely enjoys what she does. She was also wonderful with me—always kind, supportive, and patient, taking the time to explain everything clearly and making the whole process enjoyable and stress-free. Freddie made great progress thanks to her guidance, and I felt confident and comfortable every step of the way. Izzy is truly amazing and, in my opinion, the best trainer ever. I highly recommend Isabella (Izzy) at PetSmart to anyone looking for exceptional dog training. — Sofia Vicenzi-

Honestly, big box stores need to die. 10,000 options of the same thing, all claiming they're the best. Let's have someone start a local fresh dogfood company and just buy from them locally. And vets that aren't paid by the medical and pharma industries. Or something. Everyone that works at these places is great, but the stores are dinosaurs.

Absolute garbage for delivery or pickup. If you’re getting canned food delivered from here it will be damaged. You will have to go into the store to fix it. They will be dismissive, especially if you’re disabled. If you find large amounts of damaged goods (and you will) and tell them so they are removed from the shelves, they will not remove them. In fact, there is a very high likelihood that they will send you those damaged items as your next order. Seriously. If you have another order they will deliver those very same damaged goods to your door and again be unwilling to do anything. If they tell you to call and speak with a manger before delivery to make sure you don’t have damages delivered, they will lie to you. You will get *more* damaged goods than usual sent to you. Worst location I’ve dealt with, and that’s out of every state north of Arizona, between MO and CA. If you can avoid this place to get what your pets need, do so. Bottom 1% of PetSmart stores. This is how to kill loyalty and a brand.

I came tonight for one thing and was hoping it wouldn't be too crazy. It was. They opened a new register and I was lucky enough to get Gaby. Best thing that happened to me today! Of course I ended up buying a lot more than one thing, because we love our pups. I noticed a QR code that applied to my purchase but couldn't get the app to work. I mentioned it to Gaby and she suggested I try the website instead of the app. She was spot on because that finally worked, but while it was loading, she went a step further and offered me her phone to try. I could tell she was under pressure, but she was looking out for me and took the time to do it. All while ringing me up, being friendly and helpful. I'm leaving this review because of her. Thank you again Gaby! You truly made my day.

Animals Left Without Water: Guinea Pigs Desperate for Water at Petsmart Stevenson Ranch. I had to beg a dismissive employee to refill their empty water dispenser. I shopped at Petsmart in Stevenson Ranch on September 30th, 2025 with my children. While looking at the animals, we noticed two guinea pigs frantically squeaking and running up to the glass to get our attention. Their tiny water bottle was completely empty. I reported this to an employee. At first, she didn’t even want to check, saying another worker “was about to come around and handle the waters.” I had to ask twice before she reluctantly came over. She confirmed the bottle was empty — and then closed the cage back up without refilling it!! When I asked again, she repeated that another worker would check soon. I had to ask yet another time before she finally refilled the bottle. Once she did, the guinea pigs immediately fought each other for access and drank frantically, finishing half of the water in just minutes. It was also obvious that the bottle provided for their cage was far too small for 2 guinea pigs; all the other cages with multiple guinea pigs had much larger bottles. No one else ever came to check the waters during our visit, even though the employee repeatedly said another worker was “coming around” soon. The employee was visibly annoyed, and reluctant to act. After finally refilling the bottle, she walked off right away, showing no concern for how desperate the guinea pigs were to finally drink. No customer should have to beg staff to give thirsty animals water.
