This is our go-to fish store, or pet store in general. My kids and I visit almost weekly to hang out with Lupe in the fish room. The staff at this Petco location are all excellent, but Lupe really stands out. My family is relatively new to aquariums, and Lupe is a pro. He’s got so much knowledge and gives great advice. I feel like he watches out for us, making sure we bring home quality, healthy fish and avoiding sick, or weak fish. Although he’s been in the aquarium business for a long time, he still shares in our excitement as newer hobbyists.
We appreciate the hardworking staff at this Petco. Their service, care, and overall positive attitude (even when I close out the store at night) keeps me coming back.

Five stars as always because it’s fun shopping here with my cats and the employees are so chill. One employee even pulled out their phone and showed me their two orange cats which were so cute!!!!
I really liked being able to connect and talk about our cats! It was a first for me and it was really really nice.
My only complaint is that this petco has a smaller selection of cat accessories compared to other petcos. I always have to order online or drive to another petco further away.
For example the sassy cat hello kitty line of harnesses, bows, and collars. Petco has them in stock and other stores do too but our local Santa Clarita never really saw them.
Another example would be the cat accessory area is always empty. I like being able to pick out cute things for my cats but the selection is so limited compared to other petcos.

My husband and I took our boys to petco today to get some fish for our kiddos. We had no knowledge of raising fish but "LUPE" was so kind to help us out with great knowledge about fishes. He guided us from top to bottom to get things we need, trained us, showed us every detail things we needed to know. If anybody has questions aboit fish, ask LUPE.

Moses went above and beyond on making my son’s first pet purchase for his birthday smooth. Knowledgeable and helpful on all the things we needed for our hamster Miss Squeaks. I appreciated his patience and explaining all the things we need to make her home. He is did it for us and will be recommending friends who are looking to adopt

Had an awesome experience at the Petco on Bouquet Canyon Rd in Santa Clarita. Huge shoutout to Lupe in the fish section. He was incredibly passionate, knowledgeable, and genuinely cared about making sure I had the right information and setup. You can tell he truly loves what he does and takes pride in helping customers, not just making a sale. He took his time answering questions and made the whole experience enjoyable and stress free. Petco is lucky to have him.
