This is our go-to fish store, or pet store in general. My kids and I visit almost weekly to hang out with Lupe in the fish room. The staff at this Petco location are all excellent, but Lupe really stands out. My family is relatively new to aquariums, and Lupe is a pro. He’s got so much knowledge and gives great advice. I feel like he watches out for us, making sure we bring home quality, healthy fish and avoiding sick, or weak fish. Although he’s been in the aquarium business for a long time, he still shares in our excitement as newer hobbyists.
We appreciate the hardworking staff at this Petco. Their service, care, and overall positive attitude (even when I close out the store at night) keeps me coming back.

Moses went above and beyond on making my son’s first pet purchase for his birthday smooth. Knowledgeable and helpful on all the things we needed for our hamster Miss Squeaks. I appreciated his patience and explaining all the things we need to make her home. He is did it for us and will be recommending friends who are looking to adopt

I live in Lake Isabella and I go down to Petco in Valencia to get fish/supplies for my Saltwater tank. Check out Lupe in the fish department, he is really cool and very helpful. He answers all of my questions that I may have for my tank. He helps me pick out the right fish, corals and supplies. He has that saltwater knowledge that you can’t find in collage. He is very helpful. Thank you Lupe for always helping me out. Without Lupe, everything in my tank, would be dead. It’s thanks to him that my tank has been running for about a year now.

Lupe is great! He assisted us set up a second tank for our betta fish. He answered all our questions very patiently and shared some advice to care for it. Another thing we love about Lupe and Petco is all fish in the store look like they’re truly cared for. All tanks in the store have lots of plants and fish seem happy. This is unlike other pet stores in the area. We’ll be coming back for sure!

This is for the hospital inside. I was in a tight spot in life but had my girl i got 4 years ago from ventura pound to give me strength and purpose. Well few days ago she stopped eating, moving smiling and lost half her weight. I'd have to carry her out to pee and she lay down next to it exhausted. Unemployment ended 2 weeks ago and after calling 23 places to get her aid/relief i saw a coupon for free exam for new customers at Petco in Santa Clarita. They booked us first thing when they opened. From when they first answered my call until I was gently told of her imminent demise and options for care til she left us, I felt respected and knew the Dr and her staff cared for Rosie like family. After giving me time to cry and cuddle Rosie and pull myself together, I was given food for her to try to eat and told all costs were covered and could leave whenever I felt ready. Im 50 and never believed in a higher power but I know I was guided to these incredible people. Thank you Doctor and your staff from both Rosie and myself. I will pay this blessing forward and share our experience to anyone looking for vet care knowing you will provide that and so much more. Thank you for treating pets AND people. You are all amazing.
