I will not go back to PetSmart for grooming after the terrible experience I had. First visit: They told me my dog needed updated vaccines—fine, I got them. Second visit: I called ahead, and the employee assured me I didn’t need an appointment—just to come between 2-4 PM. When I arrived at 2:45 PM, they turned me away, saying they were fully booked. I scheduled an appointment for the next day, only to be rejected AGAIN because they claimed my dog couldn’t be groomed within 48 hours of vaccines—something nobody mentioned before. Three trips, zero grooming, and endless misinformation. The lack of communication and consistency is unacceptable. Save yourself the hassle and go somewhere else.

The worst experience grooming experience EVER!
We arrived within the 15 mins grace period and got rejected from grooming services because we have a golden retriever and a husky which are scheduled and confirmed with PetSmart 2 days ago. “They are not small dogs which I can just wash and dry and send them home, they are big dogs” and the service we scheduled were just Bath and Brush, NOTHING ELSE! We have been going here for more than a yr, always drop them off at the same time, and picking them up within 2 hrs. The grooming tech with the worst attitude arguing with us like a copy machine nagging “the 15 mins grace period”. By looking at the phone, we made it into the grooming door within 15 mins! He basically just kicked us out after seeing our dogs not being “small”. And my appointments were not even scheduled with him, it was another tech! I can’t and won’t give the name here but manager, if you are reading this and want to know who is it, plz contact me and I will give you the detail description of this person. And I will never ever bring my dogs back here for grooming with that kinda attitude of your tech!

This is the pet store that got my son and I started into fish. A gentleman with long hair was very kind and helpful and God is going in the right direction
We are now very into fish we have several different tanks several different species and we enjoy their beauty and their personalities
I do go to other fish stores because they don’t sell disc is here but I did get the majority of my fish other than the discus and my salt water I got all other fish from here

This is specifically about their grooming salon.
Over the past handful of months, the overall service quality has waned, mainly in the attentiveness of some of the grooming staff along with any sense of urgency to answer the phone.
Over the summer, I’ve been put on hold only for the call to drop or time out and get looped back to the front. In the end, nobody from the grooming salon answered the phone.
I had a scheduled appointment today. I arrived 7 minutes early to find the grooming salon completely empty as if it was closed for the day. I tried the buzzer – the dogs in the back barked in response, but not any staff.
My dog and I grabbed a couple treats and made our way to the front. After letting the cashier know the salon was empty, he commented that one of the staff was headed back.
Fast forward 21 minutes after leaving the store – I received a call from Noel, the groomer scheduled for my dog. He let me know that I had exceeded a 20-minute grace period and would need to reschedule. Upon providing feedback about the salon being completely empty when I arrived and nobody answering the buzzer, he promptly hung up.
The lack of accountability as a team was disappointing, ranging from the front cashier to the individual groomer to any sort of management. There was a feeling, “Not my job, not my problem.”
A lot of their groomers are great. I’ve had excellent experiences with them in the past for both of my dogs. Maybe I’m the statistical outlier or the one who happened to call when the phone wasn’t a priority, they were short staffed, etc. It’s plausible.
If you’re looking for a general groomer, this a good place to start. Keep in mind that you may have a moderately frustrating experience on the customer service front.

Marie was our groomer. She and the whole staff were pleasant and helpful. My Yorkie looks great!
