Lyon's Veterinary Hospital has been the BEST veterinarian experiences that I have had in having kitty fur babies for 20 years. All of the employees from front desk to vet techs are kind and compassionate. It is a sweet way to enter - especially when the moments at the vet might not be the easiest time. I have worked with Dr. De La Torre for quite some time now, and she has been AMAZING. I feel and see her heart for the beings that enter the office. I have recently had a kitty with some health issues and she has been wonderful and patient with all my questions, inquires, and emails. She has given me all the knowledge available, and I have truly felt her concern and care. Though the current time with my fur baby has been trying, I am grateful for being able to build a relationship with Dr. De La Torre.
Lastly, as being a fellow local small business owner - I am quite impressed with the professionalism and love that beams from this veterinary office.

Staff and Dr. Swope are caring and responsive. Our golden retriever has had exceptional care every time we've been in.

Amazing experience. I was calling around in a panic for someone to look at my rabbit (suspected GI stasis), and they were able to get me in that same day within an hour. The people there are incredible, you can tell they really care about their patients, and they're the most compassionate vets I've ever met, and very knowledgeable. I left feeling so reassured with medication to give her, and she's already doing so much better, back to her normal, destructive self again. I truly can't thank this team enough, and my girl thanks them, too. Couldn't recommend this place more.

After frantically calling multiple vets in the area who would be able to see my guinea pig, Valley Lyons was able to promptly offer me an appointment with Dr. Swope the same day. She was amazing and very gentle with my little Brownie! The whole process was very quick and affordable. We were only sent with what we needed and Brownie is already looking much better. Thank you team!

Last evening my daughter's dog, Rocky, had passed in the middle of the night. He had been with my daughter for 12 years. She called hysterical and not knowing what to do. She is a widow and it was just Rocky and her. Rocky and her were together for so long, she felt lost. She wanted Rocky cremated and wanted his ashes but didn't know if she could afford it since she lives on a fixed income. I called her vet, Valley Lyons Veterinary Hospital. The hospital was normally not open on that particular day. But, the vet stated she would meet her at their office. The vet took Rocky into her care and said she could have Rocky cremated and his ashes returned to her. The price was very reasonable. My daughter returned home knowing that Rocky was in good hands. Dogs become our friends for life. Their loyalty can't be compared. And, sometimes your dog is all you have in your life. THANK YOU for making this very painful day turn into a day of peace for my daughter. There are angels among us!
