I stopped by this Sephora location inside Valencia Town Center on a Saturday afternoon. The moment we walked inside, the workers greeted us and ask if we needed any assistance. My wife asked for a brush so they told her where it was. The store was busy during the afternoon probably because of the holidays sales starting early. There were worker s throughout the store so if you needed any help, you'll be able to find them easily. While my wife was shopping around, I went to look at their cologne area. I tried smelling some nice ones for men like Dior, Channel and etc. We had a good time inside the store and my wife got what she wanted.

Scheduled my daughter and her friend for makeovers before their HoCo. Arrived to pick them up and My daughter was orange & 3-4 shades darker than her natural color. Im assuming the makeup artist has not worked on Brown skin nor knew how to blend. Once home, I immediately made her wash her face. I did tell Michelle that that was not her color. I told her immediately when I walked in, but it was not enough time for her to start over, and I did not want to make my daughter feel embarrassed or ugly. This was her night.
But this is absolutely NOT Acceptable. There are 100’s of shades in stock. You are SEPHORA! Do not do Black women this way. She’s only 17 and w/o her glasses she couldn’t see what the artist was doing. I just assumed, everyone knew how to apply makeup. NOPE‼️ But compared to the other artist who did her friends, she Nailed it. She understood the assignment. Why did no one stopped her to say “hey, she looks orange? Lets try a different brand, foundation or shade”. Nope, yall let her continue to cake my daughter’s face, Idk 🤷🏾♀️
A makeup artist should know how to work and blend ALL skin tones. Not just the pale ones☝🏾
Terrible experience as a POC, 0/10, wouldn’t recommend.
I will not post her photo here, for privacy concerns, but I will email this review to management.

I stopped by Sephora today. Their representative Zee was very helpful and helped me with the products and guided me with my needs. Highly recommend

I’ve noticed that whenever I shop at the Sephora in Valencia, I’m rarely offered samples with my purchases. It’s a bit disappointing, especially since online orders typically come with a few included. What’s more confusing is that I’ve seen other customers receiving samples in-store, so it’s unclear why the experience isn’t consistent.
Additionally, when I asked about makeup application services, I was hoping to be directed to someone with expertise in working with deeper skin tones. Unfortunately, no one could clearly guide me in that regard. As someone with melanin-rich skin, it’s really important that the makeup complements my complexion—no one wants to walk out looking chalky!
I love Sephora and appreciate the range of products offered, but I hope to see a more inclusive and consistent customer experience at this location in the future.

Lots of makeup and goodies to choose from. Much better service here with the staff than Mac. Kinder and better help finding stuff. The location is clean and organized.
