Hey ice cream lovers! If you're anywhere near Stevenson Ranch, you HAVE to check out Hendel's Ice Cream. Seriously, this place is the real deal. I've been working my way through their flavor menu, and let me tell you, there are some winners. But "Monkey Business"... oh my goodness, it's the absolute BEST! Think bananas, caramel, and pure deliciousness. I love to add some nuts on top.
And don't even get me started on the generous scoops! You definitely get your money's worth. Plus, the staff is super friendly and helpful. They do free samples too! We found this gem thanks to a recommendation from my daughter's classmate, and I'm so glad we did. You won't be disappointed!

I went to Handel's homemade ice cream on Father's Day. Great friendly service and quality desserts. They were fully staffed for a busy special day. My ice cream today was Chocolate Madness in a waffle cup. Next time, I'll get the handmade waffle cone dipped in chocolate with nuts. Yum!!!..... They are a family owned and operated business in Santa Clarita Valley. Great place for all ages. So good and large portions.

Handles Ice Cream is a fantastic spot! We ordered the 4 scoop sampler, and it was well worth it—more like 4 full scoops of delicious ice cream. They have tons of flavors, and my favorites were Banana Cream Pie and Cinnamon Roll. We also tried Brownie Batter and Strawberry Cheesecake Chunk, which were good but not as amazing as the other two.
We got there just in time and only had to wait 5-7 minutes to order. After we ordered, the line was huge, but it was definitely worth the wait. Another plus is they don’t ask for a tip on the screen. They have a tip jar if you want to leave a few bucks, but there's no pressure to leave a digital tip.
There are plenty of areas to grab a seat—benches, tables, the amphitheater, or even on the grass. It’s great for a date night or treating the kiddos, and it's pet-friendly too. Overall, a wonderful experience!

First time here, super cool place to hangout with kids or friends… and pets. There’s lots of seating. You can order there or order online… the ice cream was very delicious… we had the sprinkled banana, Oreo cookie and monster cone but I didn’t get a pic of that wife it was so good… the location is very clean and the employees were very nice and helpful

We have been here 2x in the last several days. I guess that says a lot. I guess we are somewhat ice cream snobs, preferring smaller batch made. For a store offering 42 flavors, they make a very good product. The ice cream is very creamy, and they store it at the perfect temperature so that it is firm but spoon friendly. Many of the flavors are overly sweet with a lots of syrups, candies, etc added in. However, there are a handful of fllavors that are more basic such strawberry (the original flavor), coffee, etc. The first time I order the smores and it is definitely a full dessert with marshmallow and chocolate added. However, it is very yummy but really sweet. The 2nd time, I ordered the strawberry which was also yummy but much less sweet. If we go back a 3rd time, I think I will try the coffee. My hubby got the coconut cream pie in a waffle cone the first time but loved it so much, ordered the same on our second trip. The store is very clean looking but note that you will be ordering at one of their many windows and then leaving to find a seat nearby or eat it in your car if it's chilly. I definitely recommend giving Handel's a try. However, look online first to choose your flavor. If you click on the flavor, you will see a short description which I found helpful. Serving sizes are very large with a small dish being plenty for me.
