Sabor Cocina Mexicana
We went on Friday night around 7pm for a friends’ night out and a chance to catch up, and it was such a great experience. We were seated at a long table at the bar, which was perfect for our group and the vibe we were going for.
Right away, our server was fast, attentive, and welcoming, and walked us through the margarita specials—one of the many things Sabor is known for. We started with the trio dip appetizer (guacamole, bean dip, and salsa), which was perfect for the five of us and a great way to kick things off.
The atmosphere was fun and inviting—we were laughing, enjoying ourselves, and never felt rushed. Our server was excellent and made sure we always had drinks, checked in at the right times, and catered to everything we needed.
For entrées, we ordered:
• Enchiladas de Marisco – fresh fish, wild Pacific shrimp, spinach, poblano cream sauce, crema, and avocado
• Tacos de Pescado – fresh fish of the day, jalapeño crema, red cabbage, and salsa tropical
The food was absolutely amazing. So savory, flavorful, filling, and enjoyable—every bite was delicious.
We highly recommend Sabor for great food, great drinks, and a great atmosphere. We’ve already been here a few times as a go-to spot for friends to meet and catch up, and every visit has been a great time. We’re very impressed—thank you so much!

This is not just a restaurant; it's a delightful journey into the heart of Mexican culinary artistry. The moment I stepped in, I was enveloped in an ambiance that can only be described as a beautiful dream, where every design element, especially the enchanting chandelier made with red hearts, seemed to have been chosen with the intent of transporting diners to a world of whimsy and warmth.
The real magic, however, unfolded with each dish prepared by the exceptionally talented chef. The food was a masterful display of the right amount of spice, bringing out the authentic flavors of Mexico, yet catering perfectly to a diverse palate. It was evident that every ingredient was selected with care and every spice used with a deep understanding of its impact on the overall dish.
What truly set my experience apart was the exemplary service. The staff, attentive and knowledgeable, added to the welcoming atmosphere, making me feel more like an honored guest than just another customer. Their professionalism and warmth perfectly complemented the magical environment.

One of the Best Mexican vibe restaurants around. Rib eye 🌮 were sooooo tender. “Sabor” Margarita was smooth. Restaurant decor set the mood, highly recommend.
Didn’t like paying for chips and salsa though, and had to pay to additionally refill the salsa. This restaurant can do better in that category, take care of the patrons.

The restaurant was beautiful and the service was great. Unfortunately, the food was lacking big time. There was barely a menu to choose from bit when we got the food there was no taste. Everything was so plain and unseasoned. Even the rice. We had a party of 12 and only a couple actually enjoyed their meal. It might be great for some but this wasn't what we were expecting from a Mexican restaurant.

Sabor Cocina Mexicana in Valencia exceeded every expectation! As an avid supporter of local dining and the arts, I was delighted not only by the vibrant flavors and beautiful presentation of the dishes, but especially by the outstanding service. Our waiter Saul was exceptionally attentive and friendly, making sure every detail of our meal was perfect. Manager Luis also stopped by personally, offering a warm welcome and ensuring the dining experience was seamless. Truly, Sabor stands out for its dedication to quality and hospitality. Highly recommended—my five stars go to Saul, Luis, and the entire Sabor team for making this visit memorable.
