I have seen their work via instagram for a couple years now but finally made the choice to stop in. I am so happy I finally did. The professionalism, the attention to detail. I’ve never let happier with my nails after trying a new salon. vita was so sweet and pleasant, didn’t rush but took her time and attention with everything and made sure I was pleased each step of the way can’t say enough good things. 100/10

A Studio Nails is the best! . I have been a regular client of Elizabetta and Ira, but I know that all of those women are fantastic choices. The results are absolutely worth the investment, they look great and most importantly they LAST! Plus, the familiar faces and kind staff make the experience great every time.

My wife Ailleen visited this place and she loved the attention to detail. The service received was beyond her expectations. The best looking French manicure and pedicure. This salon has only been in SCV for 2 years and more ladies need to come and give them your business. I know my wife will definitely be back!

I was greeted by the receptionist who gave a warm welcome. The service started on time; no waiting. I had a Russian mani and Russian pedi simultaneously. Both technicians were professional and meticulous about cleaning my cuticles. I was grateful that they were able to accomplish the color and look of the nail color I was asking for. The best part of the service was that they are conscious of and prioritized my nail health.

I ended up at AStudio Nails because my normal nail tech had a medical emergency, so I needed an appointment before my birthday trip and this salon had good availability. I asked for the design in the attached reference photos, with the marbling as a base and the gold overlayed. I asked multiple times during the appointment if this design was doable and was reassured they could do it. I had even seen similar designs posted on their social media account. The design I ended up with was not real close to my reference photos, but I was fine with the results. My tech asked other techs to show her how to do the design, which was fine, but I felt she was in over her head. I would have preferred to be told to do a more simple design. I gave feedback on the nail design multiple times during the appointment, and my tech was happy to make the adjustments, but I think the communication and ability weren’t there for this particular design.
Mostly, my dissatisfaction is not with the design so much as the quality. I believe my tech was new, and I know the only way to learn is through experience, but in total I paid over $200 for these nails and was frustrated by the quality I received. The way the polish was distributed at the nail base gave it the appearance of being a week grown out as soon as I left the salon. The color was far from the base and absent on most of the sides of the nails. The attached photos were taken the day of the appointment. The polish was unevenly applied, making the nail bumpy, but I understand a lot of colors were used thus making this a difficult process.
What solidified my 1 star review was the removal. My usual nail tech won’t work on other people’s nails, so I returned to the studio to have them removed. I attached the photos of my nails from immediately after leaving the salon. The appointment was scheduled for 40 minutes, but took an hour, which isn’t a problem except for the tech’s next client was waiting, so I felt she rushed through filing off the last couple nails and then sent me on my way. I know every nail salon is different, but other than soaking the nails and filing off the extensions, no other steps were taken. In all the other times that I have had nails removed-whether extensions or just gel polish- there was at least an oil or top coat applied to protect the filed nails, but it seems this salon does not take those steps. Again, every salon is different, I was just disappointed with the care taken at the price I paid.
I came to this salon due to its high number of praising reviews, but that was not my experience.
