Dr. Avaness is an absolute delight and is incredibly knowledgeable. She explains everything in great detail so that you understand what is happening and why. She also manages to make you feel comfortable, which in my opinion is a great feat for a dentist. I had one appointment with her in Sherman Oaks before she moved full time to Santa Clarita, but I don’t even mind making the drive now, that’s how great she is!

Felt like going to an aunt I’ve not seen in a while - safe and exactly what I came for. No upselling or convincing of (non) needed treatments. Educational along the way as well, which is sadly rare in my experience. Great and easy transition for my pediatric aged children to move into th land of adult dentistry.

Dr Avaness and her team are fantastic. She is friendly and knowledgeable. The hygienist Terri was so incredibly kind and was very understanding of the TMJ pain I get and encouraged me to take breaks whenever I needed. I can’t recommend them enough.

I was referred to Dr. Avaness by my sister and her husband. They both had a great experience. Dr Avaness provided them extraordinary insight and guidance for their dental issues. i am extremely thankful they referred me. I started my treatment and am impressed with the care and service i received.
