As a busy escrow company, we banked with Bank of Santa Clarita for many years; they were acquired by Bank of Southern California in early 2022. We recently discovered that a (lost) 10-year-old check had been cashed. Not only do we print “Void 90 days from date-of-issue” directly on our checks, but a stop-payment was placed for the lost check and the funds re-disbursed (10 years ago). Rather than just call us, the bank honored the check and then refused to reimburse us. We had to move money to cover it.
Where is the “dedicated personal care,” “unparalleled service” and “creative solutions” for our “small business’s banking needs” that are touted on the Bank’s website? They forgot to mention “only at our convenience, time-table and discretion.” This is a bank that cares little for their clients and won’t hold themselves accountable.
