My wife came here to get lunch and also asked if I wanted something from here. I had their quesadilla before and it was not my favorite so I looked at their menu online. I decided to go with the grilled chicken burrito with no bean, add rice, add cheese, no wet burrito and salsa on the side. My wife got her chicken enchiladas. The store got rid of their self serve salsa bar so you have to ask for any toppings or sides. I wanted extra pico de gallo so they give it to her in a decent size cup and 2 red salsa. When my wife got home, we started eating her food. I cut my burrito in half and saw there was barely or little amount of grilled chicken in there. Maybe that's why they don't cut it in half for you so you can't see how much meat is in there. They put way more rice than chicken so I know it's a way save on cost because another place similar to here does the same thing. I didn't taste or see any cheese in my burrito but my wife said she saw them add someone so I believe they just added a little bit. I did not like the red sauce either so overall my grilled chicken burrito was not that good. My wife thought her enchiladas was okay.

Portion size is great. Flavor of the food isn’t true to taste Mexican. It’s still decent for a fast food spot. Staff is friendly and organized but. Please is clean and free of trash. There was no sign of a dirty. The place is a decent size that didn’t give a cramped feeling. Not sure if I would go back but it was worth a try.

Amazing food amazing drink choices. Perfect example of you can’t have it all. Out of the everyday budget unless you come during taco Tuesday. downside of outside dining the door locks once you walk out, so u have to walk around to the front to get back in, in case I need a refill. lines are long not for someone on a 30 min lunch. Customer service sucks. Saw employees scanning tables giving themselves positive reviews. Tables always dirty. Handed cashier money she placed change on counter while my hand was out. Poor communication asked for a side of salsa the lady didn’t say a word I was poured a 4 oz container and charged for it $1.10, I should have been offered a choice in size if I was paying I didn’t need that much. Gonna take a break from this place for a while due to poor customer service. The outside is not maintained I wanted to eat outside because the tables are so close together and when I ate here yesterday I had a person coughing non stop to my right and left. The outside looks like I walked into unannounced to a hobos tent

This place realistically deserves a 2 star, but the food is decent so it's not a total loss.
Sadly, this is where anything good ends. The service is atrocious. The staff is incredibly unprofessional and unpleasant. Either they are very unhappy at work or they have terrible guidance... probably some combination of the two. Adding to the dark cloud that was their staff, was the fact that it was literally dark in the restaurant. I don't know if they were having issues with the lights, but I questioned if they were even open when I arrived. I digress, the atmosphere was overall dark and dingy. I don't want to say it's dirty, but given the level of unprofessionalism displayed by the staff, there is no question there are poor sanitation practices performed at this establishment. The manager was either non-existent or ill equipped, but either it's clearly a case of poor leadership. I hope whoever reads these takes that seriously.

I don’t usually leave negative reviews, but my experience at Cafe Rio was really disappointing. First off, the staff was extremely rude and seemed completely miserable. It’s one thing to have a rough day, but their attitude was exceptional rude. I honestly felt unwelcome from the moment they talked to me.
On top of that, they were out of nearly all the toppings, which really takes away from the experience. The food itself was just average — nothing special at all. I’ve had better meals at other Cafe Rio locations, so I was pretty let down. To make matters worse, they didn’t even bother to heat up some of the items that clearly should’ve been warm.
Overall, not a great experience. I won’t be coming back to this location anytime soon.
