This place is dirty. The walls were dirty the tub was dirty, but this was expected. I was afraid to pull back the covers. I definitely was not gonna take a look at the mattress I gauge this is a place for truckers. But you can’t beat the price. Or maybe you can and I just should’ve looked harder. The air in the room cut out halfway during the night. The woman at the front desk was friendly.

I recently stayed at Castaic Inn, and unfortunately, my experience was very disappointing. During my stay, I discovered cockroaches in the room, which was extremely unsettling and unsanitary. I immediately reported the issue and was told they would look into the matter of providing me a discount. I even followed up by email, but management never responded or made any attempt to address my concerns afterwards.
Cleanliness and guest communication are the most basic expectations when booking accommodations, and both were lacking here. I had hoped for at least an acknowledgment or some effort to resolve the situation, but that never happened.
Based on this experience, I cannot recommend Castaic Inn to others, and I would encourage travelers to consider alternative lodging options until improvements are made in both cleanliness and customer service.

Close to the freeway, that's about it for positives. Pool/spa empty. No breakfast. Towels dirty. Mattress old and dirty. Lumpy pillows. Walls dirty. Overall, it was a place to crash close enough Magic Mountain.

Needed a place freeway close, which was perfect. However, not checking reviews first was my fault. Room was dirty, smelled of mold and smoke, linen and pillows smelled also. Other reviews prior to mine, management claims would address the issues, I certainly couldn't see it.

Its right on the freeway and it is slightly cheaper so that was a plus. Our room however was pretty run down. Restroom was leaking, Cable didn't work and didn't smell the best.
