Great service today from banker Christopher George. This morning I had to get a statement notarized in order to request my son's birth certificate. I know that Chase offers notary services for free to banking customers, so I went to the branch close to my house (at Highridge Crossing) but was told that branch does not have a notary. The teller was nice enough to give me a list of Chase banks in town that do have a notary. I called this Chase branch at Granery Square, and Christopher picked up the phone and told me he could notarize my document. I drove over and he was ready to provide the service. We went into his office and he notarized my document quickly. Great service and hardly anyone in the branch when I visited on a Wednesday morning.

It was raining today, one of those rare days in Santa Clarita, and the Granary Square office was decorated with a beautiful Christmas tree with the lights on. Suzanne helped me get some paperwork done and went beyond just helping. She was so caring and made me feel so welcome there. I drove extra miles just to get to this branch. It shines above all the other branches around it.

This Bank is TERRIBLE, i came in today with my mom and one bank teller a woman who looked Armenian or Persian was extremely RUDE, she was chatting with a asian girl who worked there too and totally ignoring us, then when my mom was asking a question she cut my mom off mid sentence and told her to go sit down without even listening to why we were there or what the problem was, i then said "thats so rude" I'm furious. You don't treat people like that. This woman should be fired. Main reason why i stopped banking with Chase and chose a different bank for myself. Hopefully my family picks a different bank. Because that was horrible. Very bad social skills this lady had.

George helped me today to get my signature notarized. Then he took me to Dexter. I almost felt sorry for the work I had brought in for Dexter: 15 really old US Savings bonds, so old they had no magnetic strip and he had to enter the numbers one by one in order to get the system to compute the value and interest.
Then, I asked if he could help me open a Chase VISA card, and of course he said "yes." That was pretty easy and by the time I walked out I had a little deposit from the savings bonds and my first Chase VISA card.
The branch in Granary Square is big, open, and nicely cooled, and they keep it really clean - all the things that I care about. And if I'm lucky, there's a big tree that gives some shade to park under. They are nice to me there, and that makes it worth while to drive a little farther to get good service.

15+ minutes to get into my safe deposit box? No thank you... 9 windows and only 1 person helping people. If you need to do some quick banking on your lunch break, this is not the place to do it.
