An upgraded motel 6…I couldn’t figure out if it smelled like rats and roaches ir some other nasty smell. It also looked and felt like an old assistant living facility. My smelling senses are more heightened than most. The aroma of a nursing home, is what it gave. It smelled like musk or mold….just old. The room was “up to date”. My bed was situated right by the bathroom. Most modern hotels have the bathroom separate from the bedroom. It had a popcorn-ceiling and the height was low. The room was clean but something about the hotel made me feel dirty. The bed was made of steel! If you just need a roof over your head, ok stay here. But if you’re looking for relaxation and comfort , run!

Nice place to stay in LA, specially if you are visiting Universal Studios. We visited Universal and was looking for near by place to stay and staying here was our good decision. Breakfast was very good with lots of options. Kids friendly menu, lots of hot items, fruits. Rooms was clean with daily room service. Swimming pool was also open with maintained water temperature. Near by good restaurant.

This isn't a horrible hotel for one night, but it lacked many things that would have made the stay better. The front desk and staff were good, but the hotel needs updating in several areas. The elevators are OLD and slow. The hotel has a total of 4 floors and there was a time we waited over 7 minutes for the elevator in the lobby and there was nobody waiting or coming down. The literal opening of the doors is painstakingly slow. The rooms are tiny. Other hotels in the area have much larger 2 bed rooms. We had to shimmy our way in with bags. The rooms were generally clean, beds were fine. The bathroom is VERY small. Not expecting a large spacious bathroom for this price point, but it definitely was the smallest bedroom and bathroom I've stayed in. Shower head needs replacing and sink faucet is heavily corroded. Digital key did not work. Location is easy. We extended our stay to noon the night before because of a sports game that ran late, but housekeeping still entered the room when we were showering and were confused why we were there. This was at 10:30 am that they asked "You're still in here?". Official checkout was 11am and we had extended to 12pm. If I'd spent $125 a night I wouldn't have a second thought, but almost $200 was way too much for this hotel. Parking was free and location felt safe. They need better indicators on where stairs are because we'd have taken them to bypass the elevators. Overall, it was a fine stay but I wouldn't stay again.

I will never ever stay in this hotel again. Last night when I went to take a hot shower after a long day or traveling, I let the water run for 10 minutes trying to get the water to warm up and it never did so I took a cold shower with the lukewarm water. The bathroom is so small that you can’t fit more than 1 person in it at a time. The rooms are so tight that it’s hard to open our luggage and get things out. Now it’s 5am and I can’t sleep because there’s a skunk in the area spraying its scent so the whole hotel room smells like a skunk. This is an all around terrible experience. Never again.

Great location with easy on off I-5 snd everything you need nearby. Close to the quaint part of Santa Clarita. More hooks than I’ve ever seen in a hotel room before - I love this. Breakfast bar was fantastic - hot sauce makes the eggs taste better and I used mini chocolate chips and peanut butter from the waffle station on my banana - mmm. Free snacks at check in and decent WiFi. Good sized clean rooms. Temperature control in the room worked very fast.
