This little guy I discovered on my last hike at this park as there is an entire trail above the park with plenty of wildlife around yes it is a rattler so watch your step please but have no fear I try to hike up the mountain at least once a week and this baby is the only one I've come across all curled up and not looking for trouble great place for either hiking and exploring or just relaxing in the shady park area to get much needed stress relief from the craziness of it all

A nice nature preserve, petting zoo, and historical museum. The park is maintained by the Los Angeles Rec and Parks. There is a small collection of farm animals, ducks, and llamas. There are bison in a large enclosure at the top of the walking trail, and many grand vistas of the SCV and surrounding mountains.

Had a nice time viewing the bison and walking the trails. The picnic area was well shaded and looked like a great place to have a picnic. Next time we will have to bring some food and enjoy it in the lovely shaded picnic area.

Lovely hidden gem. Large open area with not too many people. Lots of shade and green grass

Beautiful, peaceful park with towering trees that offer plenty of shade — perfect for laying down with a book, having a picnic, or just relaxing and listening to the breeze.
