REAL, FRESH WASABI. Almost no Sushi spot in the US has real Wasabi because the shelf life is minutes after grating.
They also have fresh, locally sourced Uni, which is also incredibly rare.
Best Sushi spot in the area. Other places charge double or more, and don't have as good of a selection or knowledgeable staff. Chef Ken was extremely hospitable and made wonderful selections for the Omakase.
I went 4 different times during my stay in the area.

Nice people who run the restaurant, which is a high energy and busy place. The food was average, ok for a quick stop off the freeway, not a place I would make a special trip to again. The sashimi was a bit disappointing. If you are a sashimi snob, you would be disappointed. The pieces were very thinly sliced, not very fresh, and not "cooled" enough (room temperature). As a result, they were a bit of a gooey sticky texture, instead of the perfect firm, chilled, springy texture with a full mouth feel. The other dishes were acceptable, but not amazing.

Escorted tonight and sat right away at busy sushi bar. Ate fresh quality sushi/sashimi while talking with socialable locals about life and sushi.
Friendly attentive service and sushi chefs... House hot sake enhanced enjoyment and flavor of hamachi belly that melted in your mouth, unagi, ama ebi and tasty tuna/avacado/salmon skin handroll (my desert). Kinza has an incredible variety of fish including belly and other delicacies. I will return on my journeys between Washington and Arizona and when visiting family and friends in California.

The sushi was really good.. the shiny was pretty good as well, our favorite though was the Happy Roll.. just go and try it!! We were not very happy with the service thus the 4 stars.. the place was pretty busy yes.. but it took a quite some time to get our orders, more time to bring the food.. and even more for the bills. We also had to explain three times that we needed to pay the alcohol separately, since we have to expense the food at work without the beers. Long story short, if you are patient and you have time to spare, by all means, yes go try the food!!
