    We were traveling to Palm Springs with our two pups in tow. We needed an overnight spot that could accommodate our fur kids. This hotel is vey clean, staff always very accommodating and friendly. The bonus, your stay includes a very nice breakfast. Not just tour usual muffin and coffee, they really go all out. Highly recommend a stay here! The ONLY reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is because the cleaner that they use (Fabuloso??) is soooo strong it almost made it unbearable. Seemed to mellow out over time or we got used to it. All in all it was great. I’m just really sensitive to cleaning products and their smells.

    I'm giving this hotel a 1 star because I can't give it zero. Apon arrival, our room had gobs of hair on the pillow cases, masks underneath one of the mattresses (both show the sheets hadn't been changed in who knows how long) and TOENAIL CLIPPINGS ON THE FLOOR. We went down to the front desk the following morning and mentioned all of this to the front desk person and he said he'd have the cleaning staff throughly clean the room. When we returned for the night, the gobs of hair were still on the pillow case, the masks were still underneath the mattress and the TOENAIL CLIPPINGS WERE STILL ON THE FLOOR. We AGAIN went to the front desk to call this to the attention of the front desk. We took "clean" sheets, or so we hope, and changed our own sheets. I called all of the unsanitary conditions to the manager's attention, and all she did was offer to change rooms and defend her cleaning staff. Change rooms is your solution, if our room is this unsanitary, how do I know you've changed the sheets and vacuumed in the other room? This hotel is disgusting, I can't stress enough how dirty it is. What's even worse, is perhaps the POOR CUSTOMER service by management. I will tell everyone I know to NEVER stay here, including writing negative reviews on every platform I can find. Sidenote- I've never written a bad review in my life. Not for hotels, restaurants, amusement parks, clothing stores or any other type of business.

    We found this hotel through Bring Fido as we were traveling with our dog. It was perfect. Very clean, large room, easy to get to, quiet (considering I-5 is a stone's throw away), and a nice breakfast. Very accommodating of our dog with lovely walking areas around the hotel. We stayed just one night, but it was a fantastic sleep - bed was very comfy! Thank you.

    No place is 100%, but 99% is a darn good score! Quiet, CLEAN, great location. No hassles, check in and out easy. Don't want daily room service? No hassle! want extra towels, ask at the front desk. Breakfast at 6:00AM, is it like a 4 course buffet? Of course not! but waffles, eggs, bagels, muffins,and a lot of other selections to get your day started is a nice plus. A lot of really nice places within WALKING distance to eat close by. Across the street is "In & Out".. open to 01:00AM. The #5 FWY is literally 2 minutes away, easy on/off.Do you get a nice "View" from the windows...well NO. You are not here for that, it's not Las Vegas. Front side sees the #5 FWY, back side sees a hillside.Rooms have electrical outlets on the desk and nightstand (for those dozens of USB power supplies) as well as 2 USB ports in case you forget to bring yours (you are not alone..trust me).The lobby "mini store"... a life saver! razor, toothpicks, antacid, nail clipper, you know the usually stuff, but wait! frozen foods! like pizza, pasta,a real selection to prepare in the little microwave IN the room. It's the little things that can make/break a good stay. Did we have ANY problems? YEP! it happened. When we got our rooms keys they were "duds". The cardkey encoder decided to crank out duds.We got that fixed. The water valve in the shower had two settings....cold as the artic snow and hot as lava.There was a small..and I mean SMALL area where we could tolerate it. Easy fixer. They CAN'T fix it if we don't TELL them it's broken right? FYI we are indeed return customers.

    My recent stay at La Quinta was deeply disappointing. The moment I entered the room, the lack of basic maintenance and overall deterioration was immediately apparent, starting with the very entrance. The room door and frame were absolutely filthy and beat up. The photos speak for themselves: scuffs, peeling paint, dents, and visible grime coated the surfaces. It looked less like a hotel room and more like a poorly maintained storage closet. There were holes and marks on the door where hardware was clearly ripped out or replaced without proper patching and painting. The walls followed suit, covered in unsightly scuffs and marks that suggest a complete disregard for cleanliness and upkeep between guests. If the entrance and walls—the basic structure of the room—are in this state, it makes you seriously question the cleanliness of everything else. It felt incredibly unkempt and frankly, unsanitary. Paying a premium for a room that looks like it hasn't been properly maintained in years is unacceptable. I cannot recommend this location until they invest heavily in basic repairs and housekeeping standards. This is not the quality one expects from a hospitality chain.
