Was getting my car washed at Lyon’s car wash on a Sunday morning. Popped into an old classic in Santa Clarita, Lily’s Cafe.
You really want to give them 5 stars because the customer service is so good however I have to be completely honest.
They make you feel like you are visiting their home. I was seated right away and they brought me fruit while I was waiting, on the house. I had the French Toast, scrambled eggs, bacon, hash browns, and sausage. I asked for the hash browns to be well done and they were not. Some of my food was cold as well. But I never ran out of hot coffee and smiles.

Cute little old fashioned diner attached to the bowling alley. Plenty of seats inside, a couple outside. Got the Ortega green chili & cheese Omelette with home fried potatoes & wheat toast. It was delicious! Good flavors on yhe Omelet & the potatoes too. Home potatoes were cooked well, a little crunchy & not soggy at all. My (picky) son got short stack pancakes with fries (substituted) & loved them both. Pancakes were fluffy & fries were crispy. Portions are a good size.

I am visiting from out of town. I read several good reviews and decided to try it. Lily's has an old-time cafe feel, the staff is friendly, the food selections are good, and the prices are reasonable. I ordered the sausage, mushroom, and cheese omelet with a biscuit on the side. The breakfast also comes with a bowl of fruit. It was very tasty and the portion was plentiful. Highly recommended.

Waiting to get menu while waiter helped 3 other tables. No problem, they were there first. Then, after 10 minutes, 3 different new tables came in while I'm waiting for them to take my order. They gave them all menus and I'm staring at them like- HELLO. Then took order from 1 of the 3 that came in. I'M OUT

My son invited us to Lily's for breakfast. A great breakfast! I love my eggs fried over medium, but many restaurants cook them too fast, and they get served with runny whites. Not here - they were perfection! Bacon was crisp and tasty. Home fried potatoes came O'Brien style without an upcharge. Just enough crunch to make them scrumptious! For people who like the basic breakfast, this is the place! The ambiance is a step above most bowling alley diners, and pricing was very reasonable. I highly recommend Lily's!!
