The winery itself is ok. Usually, you can see the same in other small wineries. However, my experience is here.
I got a lot of wines from Reyes the recent weekend as a member who had been in for a couple of years but didn’t have a chance to come on a weekend. I got a lot of “old wines” dated 2011-2014-2016. All reds! My impression:
All these old wines are HORRIBLE! All of them are NOT filtered with a lot of sediment and micro sediments on taste. The taste suggests that malolactic fermentation was not finished! The smell of these old wines suggested as well.
I tested some young wines at the winery and some of them were very good.
My suggestion is that the winery has been improving since 2011-2016. However, it is still not good enough to be considered a good quality winery membership.
One more thing. Usually, the wineries sell the wines quite fast with no residual like 2011-2016. It might mean that something was not good enough to sell them on time. People know that MLF improves wine with time. I have the same problem with my wine.
I terminated my membership.
Please consider strongly what you choose your wine and if you decide to be a club member. My suggestion is that if choose relatively young wines and you taste them and like them, go ahead and become a member

Came for a wine tasting today and had many surprises in the particular tastes 😋 of Merlot, Cabernet 2014, Porto 11 years and the Rose of merlot 2016. Wow so good! They have for all taste buds. The owner gave us a tour and staff was very friendly. I was in heaven with the great aromatic wines available. 🍷 Lots of parking and very calm cozy atmosphere and nice view at the front patio. 👌

Probably the best vineyard wine club you could get near LA. I love the fact that you can drive into the vineyard and see and feel the wines. It’s a great experience that’s worth going to even if you’re living in the suburbs. The drive is really nice as well.
Their membership structure is pretty cool too where you are paying for the wines you pick up and their wine menu changes every month. Pricing isn’t too expensive and it’s a great setting to bring friends to.
The winery is only open on weekends. Parking is super convenient. Great selection of home grown wines and cool artwork too!

I loved the view, the entry through the vineyard is amazing. We tasted 7 wines and I can tell that half of them were great expression of the territory and climate of Southern California.
It is hard to not leave with at least a couple bottles after the tasting.
They have a very wide selection and vintages.
I need to understand a little more about the wines. When you get the wine poured, it doesn't come with a description of the flavors or the variety, they have a book and you can ask for it if you want to know more or just ask the staff. Staff is ready to help and very nice and accomodating.
If you just want to go there and enjoy the day with food and wine, this is perfect!
To taste the wines, you must purchase the food.
The tasting cup is the problem. With this shape, you can only taste the flavor of the wine, leaving outside the shades of the color and the perfume of the wine. I would try to find a cup that has the shape of a wine tumbler. It is totaly possible. However, you can purchase the proper wine glass and take it with you as a souvenir. I would make this a must, adding it to the tasting experience without giving the plastic cup. I kind of regret I didn't buy it but I will be back for sure!
