It’s pre-Superbowl pre-Valentine’s weekend and I called a dozen nail salons near me and they’re all fully booked! Finally got hold of Richard’s Nail & Spa and I got lucky, they had availability for two regular mani-pedi. That’s all we really needed, a nice good cleaning. No frills. First time to this place, and we were very impressed how spot clean this place is, floors so shiny you can see the reflection of the ceiling lights. Their massage chairs are well maintained, clean and not old. You’d think this place just opened but they’ve been around. This place is not fancy, but I’d prefer nice and clean than all fancy and expensive. That’s where these other salons get you. So beware!
We met the couple-owners, Richard and Lisa, also from Valencia, very nice sweet young Vietnamese couple. Richard did my nails while Lisa took care of my husband. Wow, Richard has such a gentle feather touch, he took care of my cuticles, filed my nails back into shape, wallah! Nice clean fresh colored nails. We didn’t get a full foot spa massage, but for $35 BASIC MANI-PEDI, I’m OK coz that’s a super great deal around Valencia/Santa Clarita!!! We’ll surely be back more often.
RICHARD’S NAIL & SPA is a true hidden gem worthy of praise. Easily accessible with lots of parking spots. This place is awesome, never crowded because they only take two customers at a time by the hour. So it’s always peaceful and super clean. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. FIVE STARS!!!

worst nails ever! if i could give 0 stars i would the guy and lady were talking bad about me the entire time. i ripped these nails off right when i got home they are terrible. showed them a picture of what i wanted and no where NEAR what it is.

The husband/wife team here is great. They are kind and courteous and the polish stays on a long time. Plus their prices are really good.

Most horrendous nails of my life. Do not come here for French tip. The nails were uneven, crooked and discolored. Had to go get them fixed with a whole new set elsewhere. Lesson learned $100+ later

On June 1, I had my 1st pedicure appointment in this nail salon because it was recommended. The first person who clean my my toes was the husband and I asked them if they remove ingrown and said yes but he has his wife helped out and this is all my nightmare happened. It started bleeding and still couldn’t get the ingrown out and so they put some menthol ointment and said that this will prevent from getting swollen, the lady kind of blamed me for not going to the nail salon sooner so she doesn’t have to deal with my ingrown (last time I went is less than a month) so I don’t think it is way too long for her to complain.
My big right toe was bleeding for a hot minute and not once apologized for the pain she caused me. I reached out back to them saying that my toe is swollen and had to buy some topical antibiotic.
Going to this salon caused me 3 doctor’s appointment and costed me for medication.
And it’s been a month and 9 days and still swollen but 3 days ago I had to go through procedure to have my ingrown removed permanently.
Please be careful in this nail salon, it is cheap but service and attitude deserves no star at all.
