My daughter and I stayed here for 2 nights so I could take her to Magic Mountain for her 13th birthday. It's a budget motel - things are old, rooms are old BUT it was clean, the beds were very comfortable and the service was superb!
I interacted with the person at the front desk named Nimesh twice and both times he was so kind and chatty. He seemed very concerned about his guests and wanting to make sure we were comfortable.
I also interacted with housekeeping twice and a maintenance man once - all three people were very friendly, offering bright good mornings and big smiles.
Traveling alone with my daughter is always a bit scary for me but we both felt safe the whole time and the location can't be beat for Magic Mountain but also in general because the food options right outside the door were phenomenal!!
Don't expect modern, bright rooms. Expect clean, budget rooms and great customer service!

It is close to magic mountain and that is the only good thing. The desk attendant acted like he didn't want to be there when I checked in. Was given no information about pool or breakfast hours etc. It said it had breakfast which was the main reason I booked it so I could eat before going to the park and I went down at 8:30 excited for waffles based on pictures and there was NOTHING there...I then had to go spend more money to get food before going to the park...very upset and wasting time and money. The pool was not heated as advertised and was extremely dirty. Everything in the room is dirty, stained and run down as well and it is WAY overpriced with false advertising in the amenities and pictures. I wish I could get my money back because what a huge waste and disappointment. DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR MONEY AND STAY ELSEWHERE.

Set your expectations correctly for what this is and this was a 4.6 star experience. It is an older building in an older part of town at the top of the Grapevine with heavy semi-truck traffic. The rooms were satisfactory. Yes the beds were older, and the room could have been a little cleaner - but I would challenge anyone to find a more cost-effective option for a hotel in the region. You get what you pay for. The staff was very friendly, helpful and accommodating. The complimentary food in the morning was limited, but for what you pay, it was very much appreciated. There's a good chance that I will be visiting this location again during my next travels. I was very grateful to find this as part of Choice Hotels.

Title: Horrifying Stay – Unsanitary, Unsafe, and Completely Unacceptable
I booked this hotel for a family trip to Six Flags Magic Mountain, trusting Choice Hotels because I am a member and expected a certain level of care and quality. Unfortunately, this was one of the worst hotel stays I’ve ever experienced.
We arrived late at night, and while the outside didn’t look too bad at first glance, everything changed once we checked in. The area outside our room reeked of strong urine. Walking into the room was horrifying, especially knowing I had my children with me. The room looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in years. There were stains and dirt on nearly every wall, with smears and marks behind the doors that were disturbing to see.
The beds were terrible—completely uncomfortable with springs poking through. There was nothing relaxing or restful about them. The bathroom was even worse: covered in nasty marks, with rust and what appeared to be mold on the ceiling. Towels were stained and looked used, and to top it off, they only provided two towels even though the reservation was for four guests. They even stuffed toilet paper into places as a “fix,” which was beyond unacceptable.
The entire property outside the rooms was filthy as well. This is not what any guest should ever experience, let alone what a Choice Hotels member should have to accept. Allowing customers to stay in conditions this unsanitary and unsafe is a complete rip-off and a violation of the standards hotels should be held to.
Breakfast was another disappointment—cereal with no milk, a few waffles, and nothing else. The only positive part of my stay was that the staff was friendly and welcoming at the front desk. Unfortunately, that does not make up for how awful everything else was.
This hotel is horrifying, unsanitary, and completely unacceptable. I do not recommend anyone stay here, especially if you’re bringing your family. Choice Hotels should seriously reconsider associating with a property in this kind of condition.

I've stayed here on more than one occasion. I had a bad experience and complained about it. They then put on a do not rent list with the absurd reason that "I destroyed the room". If that was anyway close to being true I have not been given back my deposit, which I did get back. My stay was 2 nights and the whole time the TV didn't work and when I got into room it looked dirty but just brushed it off and went to sleep. I wouldn't recommend it to worst enemy.
