I recently had such a fantastic experience at Runner’s Lane in Santa Clarita that I felt compelled to share.
After getting orthotics from a podiatrist (and learning, much to my disappointment, that I now have a wide foot!), I went in with a specific list of shoes I wanted to try. Cameron and Jaro were incredibly patient and knowledgeable as I worked through my list…and when none of them quite worked, Cameron suggested a pair I never would have chosen on my own. It ended up being absolutely perfect for me.
I couldn’t be more thrilled — and for the first time in a long time, my feet don’t hurt.
Their communication was excellent, they were never pushy, and their follow-up afterward was terrific. The entire experience felt thoughtful and personalized. I initially debated just ordering online from Zappos for convenience, but Runner’s Lane got the shoes to me just as quickly — at the same price — and with service you simply cannot replicate online.
There’s no way I could have realistically tried on 8–10 pairs of shoes by mail without dealing with endless boxes and returns. Being able to try everything in-store with expert guidance made all the difference.
It truly pays to support small businesses like this. They are knowledgeable, passionate, and genuinely care about helping people find the right fit. I can’t recommend Runner’s Lane highly enough.

Super nice and knowledgeable employees. They sell balegas socks and overall the store was clean and organized. I would definitely shop at again.

Was excited to check out running shoes. Maybe bc its a Sunday, staff was not very friendly or helpful. I got my shoes, but left thinking maybe I should have just bought them online. Very disappointed.

Went here today and Did not appreciate the service we were given. The guy that sold us the shoes ( short ,brown skin tone ) guy wasn’t very attentive . His tone of voice asking my husband a question compared to the customer that came after us was totally different. We came in before them , but for some reason he cared more about helping them than my husband . Wasn’t sure if because they look more intimidating or something else . He gave my husband 3 shoes to try and didn’t even try to give us more knowledge about the shoes or suggest other ones like he did with the other person .

Very helpful, knowledgeable staff, picked a few shoes for me to try after watching my gait, all of which were good options. Will definitely be back again!
