Definitely recommend Nadiia!! I rarely write reviews, but I have to for this one. I have totally blonde hair, and it’s always been difficult to find a hairstylist who truly cares about both the condition and color of my hair. But I finally found mine—Nadiia. I’ve never met such an attentive hairstylist before. She genuinely cares about the quality of my hair, and even now, after moving to a different state, I keep coming back to her!

Penny is my stylist. She is a color expert and will give you exactly what you want. Although I live far away I would never let anyone else touch my hair. She’s a real asset to Shannon hair salon.

If you want guaranteed gorgeous results, Kelly Fountain is your girl.
When I moved to the LA area a few years ago, I went on a journey to find a stylist that could maintain a beautiful blonde on my natural dark brown hair in a healthy way. After trial and error from a few places throughout the LA area, along with teaching myself how to color my own hair, I came across Kelly. After seeing her for the first time, I knew my search for a quality stylist was over.
When I first started seeing her, I had primarily been bleaching and toning my hair on my own after multiple negative experiences elsewhere. All of the self bleaching and toning was catching up on my hair and Kelly was able to help turn my hair around and truly save it. She was extremely understanding and supportive of where I’ve been in my hair care journey and where I wanted to go. She asked me questions about the products I was using so she could treat my hair properly and help me get the results I wanted, which I greatly appreciated because it’s SUCH an important step of the process. Along with being extremely talented and knowledgeable at her profession, she is also just an incredible person to be chat with and be around. I always look forward to my appointments with her because it allows us a chance to catch up what we’ve been up to in between appointments. Not to mention, her vibe, along with the vibe of the salon itself, is amazing. I always leave feeling so energized and brand new.
I’ve been seeing her for about six months now and her services have been instrumental in my hair care journey. I am forever grateful that I stumbled across Kelly and Shannon Hair. Thank you, Kelly, for all you’ve done and I am already counting down the days until my next appointment!

This review is for Kelly Fountain. I had such a jarring experience with Kelly Fountain that I want to warn anyone considering her as their hair stylist. I had been seeing Kelly for a year. She had cut and highlighted my hair a few times no issues until this past August. I had an appointment with her for highlights, my hair barely lifted, not as bright as they should’ve been or what you’d expect to see when you’ve paid over $300. I went home and yes they were orange. I texted Kelly to let her know my dissatisfaction and made a new appt. This time she only fixed the highlights around my face I asked if she was going to fix the other highlights and that’s where it started and why I’m leaving this review; Kelly blamed me for my hair not lifting. (I do my own roots at home using only professional products available to salons, never have I used boxed dye). And she blamed me for the highlights not being bright because I requested an “ash” tone. And then she told me this: “We aren’t seeing eye to eye, you seemed unhappy the last few times you were in here…” basically she fired me as a client. I was stunned. I walked out feeling embarrassed and humiliated, what did I do wrong? She is supposed to be the “professional” yet she blames her client for their hair not lifting? I have since found an experienced stylist who has given me highlights that lifted to a 10. If doing my own roots was my fault, how did this stylist get them to a 10? Another note: Kelly suggested this appointment to me I didn’t request it, so if I was supposedly “so unhappy” and we “weren’t seeing eye to eye”, why would she want to suggest a further appointment with me? If Kelly was a “professional” she would’ve been honest and upfront with me about my hair. Never once did she tell me during my appointment that my hair did not lift past an 8 and that is was orange. Kelly Fountain is a complete unprofessional and uneducated hair stylist who treats her clients horribly and blames them for her own inadequacies.
