Benihana or Yamato?
Well, they both have creative Volcano shows.
The food here is Ok. Nothing to brag about.
The Miso Soup was blend. Almost no Flavor. Just a couple of Tofu. Salad was Ok.
Had the Filet mignon and Tuna combination. The Filet was tender but had too much sauce. I didn't order Teriyaki. Tuna was ok. Would I come here again? Yeah, would I recommend it? Not really

Yamato is an incredible spot especially for special occasions or date nights.
They have a Sushi bar float, Teppanyaki tables, and a bar area. All of them seem to have a special treat to them.
Our Teppanyaki chef, Alberto and our server, Pauly — were incredibly helpful, and went of their way to make sure we’re having a wonderful experience.
Highly recommend if you’re near by!

Had a blast, service was good, and the food was great. My only complaints at all was that the miso was a little watered down, and teriyaki sauce was pretty bland. Other than that, I couldn't have been happier. Definitely will be back again for those special occasions. Oh, the bar has good 5 dollar apps, and the food comes out super quick, so place to stop while waiting for your table.

We had a lovely dinner. The food was delicious. The hibachi steak was so tender it just melted in your mouth & the sushi was yummy. The best part of our night was our server, Donya. She was wonderful, attentive & made us feel special.

My husband was craving Teppanyaki so we came to Yamato on a Saturday night and it was pretty crowded but since we really just wanted the food and didn’t necessarily want to see the “show” we were seated pretty quickly at a nice spacious booth. The servers were very friendly and attentive. We got the hibachi steak and shrimp and the hibachi steak and scallops which were both delicious. The fried rice was extremely flavorful and the portions are generous. The side of veggies was absolutely amazing. The price point is also very good. Some teppanyaki restaurants are extremely overpriced and Yamato is priced fairly especially for how much food you get. The atmosphere is fun and lively and perfect for celebrating birthdays, graduations, etc.
