We had such a wonderful Valentine’s dinner at Yamato. We walked in around 5:00 PM and were told there would be about an hour wait—which was expected because the place was packed. Despite how busy it was, we were seated in about 50 minutes, and the service was great from start to finish.
We sat at the teppan grill, which made the whole experience even more fun and entertaining. I ordered the lobster and filet, and everything was cooked absolutely perfectly—flavorful, tender, and beautifully prepared. The chef was truly five stars, providing amazing entertainment while delivering top-notch food.
The Valentine’s service was exceptional, the energy was great, and we had the best time. Thank you to the entire Yamato team for such a memorable evening. We’ll definitely be back!

The food was great but service was really really bad. Took about 15 minutes for someone to take my drink order, then lord help you when the drink ran out because you would have to wait another 10 minutes or more for someone to check on you and do a refill. Food was great, but service for the cost was very underwhelming.

We come for the AYCE Sushi. Recommend trying the spicy squid salad and the disco roll. Can’t go wrong.

Super long wait times we didn't get seated for about 72minutes and when we went to the bar area it was busy aswell and when we finally got the drink it wasnt what we ordered, we were able to get it swapped once seated. The food was good but there was really only one good sauce. The hibachi chef did a great job and was carismatic asking if the baby might be scared of the fire.

We had a special occasion planned for a Saturday night and called to make a reservation to be sure to get a table. I was informed that they wouldn't take a reservation. So, we showed up thinking we were early enough to get a table. I was told the wait would be an hour. That seems to be a rediculous amount of time to be expected to wait for a table. I heard other people complaining about the wait time. One group said they were actually going to go home to wait. We didn't want to wait that long to have dinner or spend an hour of our special evening together standing in a parking lot. The facility was extremely crowded so the only place to wait was outside. By the time they finally texted to say our table was ready it had been over an hour and we were already eating in another nice restaurant where we ended up having a great evening I would not return here unless they started taking reservations and treating their customers more respectfully.
